Insider: Samsung will remove from sale Galaxy S20 FE based on Exynos 990 and replace it with a model with Snapdragon 865+ chip on board

Last week, information appeared online that Samsung was preparing to release the third version of the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone.

This was confirmed today by a reliable insider.

What is known

According to Ice Universe, we are talking about the Galaxy modelS20 FE with Snapdragon 865+ processor on board. Such a device will replace the Galaxy S20 FE 4G with the Exynos 990 chip. After this, the Korean manufacturer will discontinue production of the proprietary SoC. Unfortunately, in which regions the new version of the Galaxy S20 FE will be sold, there is no information yet.

As for other specifications of the smartphone, thenthey will remain the same. The new product will have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display at 120 Hz, 6 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of ROM, a 4500 mAh battery with fast 25-watt charging, a triple camera of 12 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP, stereo speakers and plastic housing with IP68 protection.

By the way, the Galaxy S20 FE 4G currently costs $650. The version with the Snapdragon 865+ chip will most likely receive the same price tag.
