Insider: Samsung's next top-end chip is codenamed Quadra and will be built using a 3nm process technology

German insider Roland Quandt shared the first details about the next flagship

processor from Samsung.

What is known

According to the informant, the new product comes with the numbermodel S5E9935 and code name Quadra. The chip will be the successor to the Exynos 2200, which is currently found in the flagship smartphones Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. So we can assume that its marketing name will be Exynos 2300.

Samsung S5E9935 (next-gen Exynos high-end SoC) codename is “Quadra” (last gen was Pamir).

With a high degree of probability, the new processor will receive an AMD graphics accelerator. It is also rumored that the SoC will be built on a 3-nanometer process technology.

When to expect

Naturally, you shouldn't expect a new processor in the near future. It should be presented in late 2022 or early 2023.
