What is known
The Maxis team has been hard at work on a new gameand now players are invited to participate in the alpha testing of Project Rene (current codename). The chosen ones will be able to try the game both in single player mode and in co-op. Testing will focus on the "Workshop", a new tool for fine-tuning objects.
Players will also be able to share their creations with friends, so we are waiting for showers on the Web. Test participants will be allowed to invite up to three people to the game.
Now the project is at an early stage of development, so the release will take place in just a few years.
