Instagram is reportedly working onadding another major new feature to its social app — ability to send messages online. The new feature is not yet available, but Instagram representatives admitted that they are currently testing direct messaging online.
Developers do not indicate exact datesthe implementation of this feature, but if everything goes well, there is a chance that direct messaging on the Internet in the desktop version of the application will be available by the end of the month. Currently, direct messaging can only be used on a mobile device.
A small percentage of Instagram users are alreadycan use direct messaging on the Internet, Instagram confirmed, but even more people will be able to take advantage of the opportunity when testing is complete.
