Instagram has updated its softwarefor Windows using Progressive Web Application (PWA) technology. That is, Instagram for PC now has mobile application functions. This is quite convenient, especially when you urgently need to respond to a message, but do not have access to a smartphone.

Developers have experimented with PWAs in the past.Back then, users could upload photos directly from their computer. Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available and it is not known whether it will ever be returned. Windows Central reports that the new app performs better than the previous version on ARM-based devices such as the Surface Pro X.
