Intel has degraded its processor to compete with AMD Ryzen

As it became known, Intel decided to take a very unusual approach in the fight against AMD, which is advancing on all fronts:

the company decided to degrade its own processor to compete with AMD Ryzen. The product of this approach was the Intel Core i3-10100F - an analogue of the Intel Core i3-10100, but with a disabled graphics core.

Due to the fact that the “new” processor modelusers will get four cores with Hyper-Threading support, as well as frequencies from 3.6 to 4.3 GHz, 6 MB of cache memory and a TDP of 65 W, the cost has been reduced from $ 122 to $ 79-97. Considering that this chip is in an extremely budgetary price segment, such a difference in cost can play a novelty from Intel.

It is worth noting that, apparently, Intel CoreThe i3-10100F will be a direct competitor to AMD Ryzen 3 3100. And even though the latter in tests shows itself sometimes faster than Intel's solutions, in general, which of the two processors is preferable for this or that user is an open question.
