At CES 2021, Intel also announced the new 12th Gen Alder Lake processor. It is built on
Intel itself says that Alder Lake introducesis the company's most scalable single-chip system in terms of computing power. Also, this chip "demonstrates significant development in the x86 architecture."
The Alder Lake processor reportedly includesitself both high-performance and high-performance kernels. The chip will form the basis for advanced desktop and mobile processors. Alder Lake is slated for release in the second half of 2021.
At the show, Intel's executive vice president also showed a working PC with the latest 12th generation processor. The computer was running Windows. The system was playing video.
