Intel will release three eight-core processors for laptops at once

Lake-H35. Sources write that the company is preparing to release more powerful processors - Tiger Lake-H45. As the name suggests, they are 45-watt. Moreover, three eight-core models are expected in the series.

One of the new processors is Intel Core i9-11980HKwith eight cores and 16 threads. The source reports that the chip will be able to reach a frequency of 5 GHz with two active cores. True, in this case the power consumption will most likely go beyond 45 W.

In addition, among the new products will be the i9-11900H (8 cores, 16 threads), i7-11800H (8 cores, 16 threads) and i5-11400H (6 cores, 12 threads).

The new Tiger Lake-H45 processors should arrive at the end of the first quarter of 2021.
