Deep inside the mobile operating system codethe systems detected a hidden mode of operation of a standard keyboard intended for iPad users. As it was established by the developer Stephen Troughton-Smith, in iOS 10.3 there is a special code that activates a special mode designed to faster and more conveniently type text while holding the tablet with one hand on iPad devices with a screen of 9.7 inches or less. Troughton-Smith notes that the keyboard may bemoved to any place at the request of the user, which should become a good "chip" if this option ever becomes available to end users. Trouton-Smith also indicates that it took some time to find a new floating keyboard layout, and that this option is “not yet publicly available”.
