According to Apple, Messages in iCloud will workon their own. All your messages will be stored in iCloud storage, and only recent messages will remain available on the device. Upgraded to iOS 11.4, you open Messages and see a screen explaining the new function. To use it, you will need to enable two-factor authentication. After this, the messages will be uploaded to the repository.

On iOS 114 beta 1 also returned AirPlay 2. It will allow you to output the same audio to several different devices at once. The update also includes stereo support for HomePod. This means you can link the two HomePod speakers for a stereo effect. However, the function will not work until the update for HomePod itself is released.
What yet expect?
IOS 11.4 should be the last big update before iOS 12, which will be presented at the 2018 Worldwide Developers Conference. It starts on June 4th.
