Apple recently introduced the M2 chipset for its laptops and tablets, but so far has only shown Macbooks with it on board.
What about tablets?Bloomberg's Mark Gurman answers this question. According to him, Apple is preparing an update to the iPad Pro for September or October, and the devices will also receive an updated camera and support for wireless charging with the new chipset. The latter is of particular interest given that current tablets are made in a metal case, and this is an unfavorable circumstance for wireless charging. Therefore, one of two things: either Apple has found some special implementation, or the iPad Pro will get a glass back. Perhaps further leaks will clarify the situation. Stay tuned!
