iPad Pro in 2021 will receive a new design or not entirely new: photo

Tech blog MySmartPrice  today published several supposedly leaked factory specs.

Rumors suggest that Apple is planningto announce two new iPad Pro models, the 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions. And today's images are perhaps the clearest indication that Apple's next-gen iPad Pro will have minimal design changes, if any.

According to MySmartPrice, 11-inch iPad Prothe fifth generation will be the same thickness, but Apple will "remove a few millimeters in length and width." The device can also have changes to the internal speaker system, potentially reducing the number of speaker grilles and moving them.

Previous rumors about next-generation iPad Pro models do not talk about changing the size of the display or case, but the performance of the A-series chips is expected to be "significantly improved".

The new iPad Pro models are rumored to have smaller rear cameras. The camera protrusion will remain, but the protrusion of the individual camera lenses is not required.

There is also speculation that Apple will releasestandard iPad Pro upgrades‌ with 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens, and will create a separate high-end mini-LED 12.9-inch model that can be about 0.5mm thicker to accommodate a higher-spec display. ...

DigiTimes thinks Apple is working on iPad 5Gwith mmWave support, which will be marketed as a high-end iPad Pro, and 5G support may be released alongside a new mini-LED display.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the launchA mini LED iPad Pro is expected in the first half of this year, while DigiTimes also believes a mini LED iPad Pro will be released in early 2021, just like the Korean edition of ETNews.
