IPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have audio problems: Apple knows this and will repair your smartphone for free

Apple has launched a new service program for owners of last year's models.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro smartphones.

What's wrong?

The company says that a “small percentage” of gadgets have a problem with the speaker: during a phone call, no sound comes from it.

“Apple has determined that very littlePercentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices may experience audio problems due to a faulty speaker module component. The affected devices were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021. If your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro doesn't make sounds when you make or receive calls, it may be due for service,” the company said in a statement.

Users must make an appointment in advance at an Apple retail store or contact Apple Support. All repair services will be provided to them free of charge.

By the way, this does not apply to the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max - they do not have any problems.
