There is a version that one of the futurephones may not have a notch at all, since the manufacturers plan to integrate a front camera under the screen. If this happens, then it is expected that it will be the most expensive model of the iPhone 12 with such a modification.
Apple is believed to be developing a newFace ID technology, which will result in a redesigned and potentially thinner notch. The company is supposedly testing several combinations, including ones that minimize the front-facing optics so much that they fit into the top bezel. According to another version, it is proposed to exclude the Face ID function in favor of an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Again, a later leak suggests thatthe design will actually remain the same, except for some differences in camera placement and dimensions. Based on this information, the 5.4-inch iPhone will be around 131mm tall, the 6.1-inch model around 147mm, and the 6.7-inch model could be slightly taller than the 158mm iPhone 11 Pro Max. The changes will affect another parameter of the case thickness; for the iPhone 12 it will be 7.4 mm, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max has as much as 8.1 mm.
iPhone 12 with OLED display

A useful functional extension will be the ability to select the desired frequency indicator: 60 Hz in battery saver mode, 120 Hz for games and more powerful tasks.
