Zack also tested the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6s to compare the water resistance of the three Apple iPhone models. Three phones were immersed in three different containers of water and the timer was turned on.

The first to “give up” iPhone 5S - damage to the phone appeared after just five minutes of being in water. iPhone 6s and iPhone SE continued to work even after being in water for more than 15 minutes.
Interestingly, the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE continuework even after an hour's immersion in water. Slightly “sat” speaker on the iPhone SE, which is probably due to a small amount of water, which will dry out anyway.
However, the video does not proveiPhone SE or iPhone 6s are waterproof, so don't water test the new 4-inch iPhone. However, the experiment may indicate that a small amount of liquid accidentally spilled on the iPhone SE will not damage it.
