Well, a more realistic speed test betweeniPhone XS Max and Galaxy Note 9 showed that Apple smartphone broke Samsung's flagship application launch time. Unlike other speed tests, this test is performed using a special device for greater accuracy.

In total, the devices downloaded 16 applications and games, including rendering video in 4K and exporting images from Snapseed.

In the first round of the iPhone XS Max managed for 149 minutes, and Galaxy Note 9 - already in 2 minutes and 11 seconds. In the second round, the iPhone XS Max took 43 seconds, and the Galaxy Note 9 took only 35 seconds, because almost all applications were stored in memory. Not surprisingly, the Note 9 has 8GB of RAM, and the iPhone XS Max has 4GB.

In general, the Galaxy Note 9 proved to be better at multitasking, but it’s definitely not possible to overtake it in loading iPhone XS Max applications.
