IQOO announced the imminent release of the IQOO Neo 7 model outside China. This will happen as expected in India, officially
confirmed date – February 16.However, something else is important. According to sources in India, the Neo 7 for India will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 – the middle of the Taiwanese 2022 lineup, while the Chinese Neo 7 offers MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ (the flagship of the second half of 2021). Interestingly, in China there is Neo 7 on Dimensity 8200 – Neo 7 SE, so Vivo is going to such leapfrog personally for India. By the way, this is not the first time: the same story happened with Neo 6 on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which was replaced by Snapdragon 870. Also, the global one will have FuntouchOS instead of OriginOS. Keep this in mind when purchasing Neo 7 after February 16th!
