iQOO Z5 5G with Snapdragon 778G chip, 120Hz screen and 5000mAh battery released outside of China

A couple of days ago, Vivo introduced the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone in China, and today, on September 27, released a new product for

outside the Celestial Empire.

What is known

The device debuted in India.The novelty received exactly the same characteristics as the Chinese brother. That is, the smartphone was equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS-screen with FHD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and a 16 MP front camera hole. The screen supports a sensor readout rate of 240Hz and HDR10. The display, according to the company, occupies 91.36% of the entire front surface area.

The iQOO Z5 is powered by a Snapdragon processor778G. The chip is paired with 8/12 GB of RAM and a liquid cooling system. By the way, the RAM in the new product is expanded using the Extended RAM 2.0 function. The device also received a triple main camera with 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, a 5000 mAh battery, support for 44 W fast charging, an Android 11 operating system with a proprietary shell, a side scanner, stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm jack.

Price and when to wait

iQOO Z5 5G will start selling in India on October 3rd. The device will be available in two colors and two modifications:

  • iQOO Z5 5G 8/128 GB - $ 326
  • iQOO Z5 5G 12/256 GB - $ 366
