An expert of the Honest Blog channel compared the Samsung Galaxy S22+ devices based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 in terms of photo and video recording. First, he assessed the quality of the video.
The front camera in the evening gives out a little more light on models with Exynos, and detailing is a little worse.
But in Full HD 30 fps you can see that morehigh-quality videos, if you shoot tree branches, are obtained with the S22+ on Exynos, but again this smartphone copes with highlights worse than its Snapdragon counterpart. The same thing can be noticed when recording video with a wide-angle camera. The telephoto works better on models with a Snapdragon processor.
In 4K, Snapdragon is already showing flashes, but according todetailing, this smartphone still bypasses the S22 + on Exynos. A wide-angle camera and a telephoto lens at this resolution are worse on Samsung with Exynos 2200.
During the daytime the difference is almost unnoticeablebetween devices. The only thing – a warmer picture comes out on Snapdragon, on Exynos – colder and more contrasting. The sky is slightly overexposed on the version with Snapdragon, which means the dynamic range on this smartphone is less.
In general, the presenter concludes, the S22 + with Exynos 2200 turns out to be the best in video shooting, but its 4K wide-angle camera works noticeably worse than on the model with Snapdragon.
With photographs, the situation is different. The best shots, on the contrary, are obtained on the Galaxy S22 + with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Evening photos on the main camera come out a little more contrast and detail on the Snapdragon model. This smartphone copes better with light. At 3x and 10x magnification, the S22+ with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is again in the lead, but the width works better on the version with Exynos.

Portrait shots are also noticeably sharper.on S22+ with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. But it does not cope with backlight as well as the model on Exynos. With selfie photos at night and in the evening, the situation is about the same.
Conclusion
The expert concluded that of the two devices, the Samsung Galaxy S22 + on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 won overall.
