Is the fate of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 a foregone conclusion? Gen 3 will be shown even earlier

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is in its prime - most manufacturers have already made their mark with a flagship on the new "hardware",

and bloggers have already figured out all of its strengths and weaknessessides. But what's next? Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2? It looks like its fate is sealed, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be the arbiter. In any case, the well-known Digital Chat Station informant assures that the third generation of the "eight" will be presented a little earlier than Gen 2 (the premiere took place on November 16). At the same time, he adds that the first smartphones will still be shown in the fourth quarter, that is, not earlier than October.

Note Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be remarkablefor several reasons at once. First, there will be a transition to 3nm architecture. Secondly, Samsung may return to production. As for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, its existence as a whole is in doubt due to its low expediency. For example, Gen 2 turned out to be good both in terms of performance and stability, and everything is not bad with autonomy. And Samsung, which has EXCLUSIVELY overclocked Gen 2, will be offended by the overclocked Gen 2. However, Qualcomm may have a trick up its sleeve, which we will learn about a little later.
