Is there a big difference? Radeon RX 6600 XT, 6700 XT and 6800 XT compared in games

Benchmarks for Gamers experts have launched threebuild option based on AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with RX 6600 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6800 XT in eight gaming projects. The games included Kena, Forza Horizon 5, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk 2077, Far Cry 6, Call of Duty: Warzone.

INKenawith the ultra-preset at 1080p, on average we managed to get 82 fps with the 6600 XT, with the 6700 XT – 97 fps, from 6800 XT – 145 fps, at 1440 p – 54 fps, 67 fps, 98 fps respectively.

Forza horizon 5I was running on Extreme graphics settings. At 1080p, the average frame rate was 6600 – 70 fps, from 6700 – 115 fps, from 6800 – 163 fps, 1440p – 60 fps, 98 fps, 139 fps.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlandslaunched with the Badass preset.At 1080p, the average FPS in game was 59 fps (RX 6600 XT), 69 fps (RX 6700 XT), 96 fps (RX 6800 XT). At 1440p, performance figures were 46 fps, 57 fps, 84 fps.

INMicrosoft Flight SimulatorOn ultra graphics settings the average frame rate was 1080p – 58 fps, 69 fps, 80 fps, 1440p – 40 fps, 49 fps, 70 fps (with RX 6600 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6800 XT).

Halo Infinitelaunched with an ultra preset. On average, we managed to get 1080p – 71 fps, 80 fps, 113 fps, 1440p – 53 fps, 72 fps, 99 fps with 6600 XT, 6700 XT, 6800 XT respectively.

INCyberpunk 2077on ultra settings the average frame rate was from 6600 XT, 6700 XT, 6800 XT at 1080p – 68 fps, 83 fps, 121 fps, 1440p – 41 fps, 54 fps, 81 fps.

Far cry 6came with an ultra-preset. The average FPS in it was 1080p – 72 fps (6600 XT), 83 fps (6700 XT), 114 fps (6800 XT), at 1440p – 63 fps, 77 fps, 105 fps.

INCall of Duty: Warzoneon ultra graphics settings at 1080p the average performance was 126 fps, 155 fps, 197 fps (with 6600 XT, 6700 XT and 6800 XT respectively), at 1440p – 90 fps, 118 fps and 158 fps.

Conclusion

At 1080p, as at 1440p, the difference betweenThe 6600 XT and 6800 XT were the most significant. On average across all eight projects, it was about 70 percent at 1080p (76 fps and 129 fps) and about 86 percent at 1440p (56 fps and 104 fps). The 6600 XT was slower than the 6700 XT while averaging at 1080p – by 24 percent (76 fps and 94 fps), at 1440p – by 86 percent (56 fps and 74 fps). Between the 6700 and 6800 the difference was 37 percent at Full HD (94 fps and 129 fps) and 40.5 percent at 1440p (74 fps and 104 fps).
