Israel deployed technology to track tunnels of terrorists

Media reported that the Israeli military has begun deploying technology that will detect

tunnels under construction on the Lebanese border. In particular, Israel intends to monitor the underground communications laid by the Hezbollah organization, which is recognized as terrorist in a number of countries.

How exactly the technology works is not reported. However, the Israeli military is confident that it will help them prevent the enemy from tunneling. Most likely, Israel was armed with equipment that can detect signs of underground work by sound.

The IDF command said that the newinfrastructure is the next step in the fight against Hezbollah tunnels after the Northern Shield operation a year ago, during which six such structures were neutralized.

It is worth noting that Israel has already begun to build an “underground fence” along the border with the Gaza Strip.
