It looks like Mortal Kombat 11 will not be released in Ukraine

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on consoles and PC on April 23, but it seems that Ukrainian gamers will not be able to play the new

fighting game by NetherRealm Studios.

What is known

Last week, Steam usersand PlayStation Network from Ukraine noticed that MK11 has disappeared from digital stores. Initially, gamers took this as an error, but now PlayStation support has officially confirmed that the fighting game will not be released on the territory of Ukraine.

“In response to your request regarding the disappearance of the MK11 game from PSN, we inform you that this game will no longer be published in the Ukrainian region. This decision has been made by Warner Brothers."

Company representatives did not explain the reasonMK11 disappeared, and Sony did not refund money for pre-ordering the game and did not inform gamers about the limitation. Previous games in the series remain in the Ukrainian PlayStation Store.

At the same time, Steam support reports that MK11 will reach Ukraine, but sales have temporarily stopped:

According to our data, the game and future expansions shouldbe available for purchase in Ukraine. However, this feature is currently disabled… We are aware of this problem and we are working to resolve it. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact time frame for making such a decision.
