The charging case with JBL Tour PRO + TWS headphones is slightly larger than average, but this is not without reason - and later, in the paragraph "autonomy", we will discuss this.
However, it is convenient to carry headphones with you in your bag or even in your pocket. The lid of the case can be conveniently opened even with one hand, and the headphones themselves can be easily removed and retracted back into the grooves.
JBL Tour PRO + TWS do not have “legs”, but at the same time they are quite compact. The entire outer side of each earbud is covered with a touch sensitive surface.
The sensors recognize as a press (single,double, triple), and holding your finger - this way you can control the basic playback functions. In the proprietary application (more about it later), you can customize the controls completely for yourself.
There is a USB-C port for charging in the headphones, but wireless charging according to the Qi standard is also supported.
By the way, in addition to interchangeable ear pads, JBL Tour PRO + TWSalso equipped with rubber pads (also replaceable), which improve the fit of the headphones to the ears for maximum noise canceling effect.

Quick connect function
Thanks to the quick connection feature, JBL TourPRO+ TWS can be connected to a smartphone simply by opening the charging case next to it. The smartphone will offer to link the headphones to the user account, and also download the free JBL Headphones application from the Google Play Store.
One of the most useful features in the app is the 14-band graphic equalizer, which you can customize in any way you like, not just choose from pre-made presets.

Another very interesting option is "My alarm clock".If you like to fall asleep to music (but want to wake up on time), then you can use it. The upper slider sets the time during which the music will play (a little more than you usually need to fall asleep), and the lower slider - how long you want to sleep. After the first time elapses, the sound will be muted and the noise canceling mode with low power consumption is activated. And when the sleep time ends, the alarm will go off, which is a gradually increasing pulsation of sound.

Setting up your voice assistant
In addition, JBL Tour PRO + TWS supportDual Connect + function that allows you to connect headphones separately. Thus, you can use the left or right earbud as a mono headset for making calls or even listening to music.
Finally, you can customize the headphone operation with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa voice assistant. In this case, you can choose from which earphone (left or right) you will call the assistant.

JBL Tour PRO + TWS are equipped with an adaptivenoise cancellation, thanks to which you can listen to music in almost complete silence, or simply create a comfortable and quiet environment for yourself. You can also amplify ambient sounds, and for this there are two modes: Ambient Aware - to hear everything around in general, and TalkThru - in order to better hear the interlocutor and your own voice.
The quality of noise reduction here is at a high level, noise at low and mid-low frequencies is especially well suppressed.
Noise filtering also works for microphones -so that the interlocutor can hear you better. That is, even if there is a source of noise next to you during a conversation, the interlocutor will still hear your voice clearly when you call, but the noise will barely be heard.
By the way, for the convenience of the user, JBL has also implementedAnother interesting feature is Silent Now. When activated (you need to hold your fingers on the touch zones of both headphones for 5 seconds), the Bluetooth connection and all sounds are turned off, but the noise reduction remains active. This is very useful when you are not going to listen to music, but want to be in silence, and so that the battery power is not wasted on functions that you do not need at the moment.
Sound
As always with JBL, the sound here is excellent.I tried connecting the headphones to different smartphones, including those that did not support the AAC codec, only SBC, and everywhere there was good “readability” of the sound at all frequencies, there was no “mess” at all. Moreover, out of the box, the headphones have optimal equalizer settings with which you can listen to any style of music, but if desired, flexible equalizer control in the JBL Headphones application will help you tweak your “own” sound.
Autonomy
And here is the answer why the headphone case is a littlemore than the hospital average. Autonomy! The JBL Tour PRO+ TWS headphones themselves can last from 6 to 8 hours, depending on whether you use noise canceling or not. But with recharging in the case, you can extend your listening time to a record 32 hours! Thus, today JBL Tour PRO+ TWS is one of the longest-lasting TWS headphones. At the same time, ten minutes of charging in the case is enough for an hour of listening.
Total
Great sound, good noise reduction, and the best amongclosest competitors, autonomy is what JBL Tour PRO+ TWS is all about. The picture is complemented by flexible equalizer settings and wide functionality (I liked the “My Alarm Clock” function most of all - for those who like to sleep on the road, this is almost irreplaceable).
HOW MUCH STAND AND WHERE TO BUY
Taking into account the fact that the price of this model is at the level of modern middle-class TWS headphones, taking into account the quality and functionality of the JBL Tour PRO + TWS, we can say that they are sold for almost nothing.
