Information has appeared on the web thatThe latest Tensor G2 used in the upcoming Pixel 7 and 7 Pro only managed to score 1068/3149 on Geekbench 5. In comparison, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 from last year scored 1115/3581 respectively:

The piquancy of the situation is added by the fact that on paper the second generation of Tensor is more technologically advanced - it is created according to the 4nm process technology, while the 888th Snapdragon is 5nm.
