Previously, there was a rumor that the release of a cheaper version of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S22 FE, could be cancelled.
Journalists came to the conclusion that smartphones of the seriesThe Galaxy FE didn't make much sense in terms of brand awareness or pricing. Lately, the series seems to have left its "flagship killer" ambitions behind.
This is partly due to the fact that the line of flagshipsThe Samsung Galaxy S already includes a relatively cheap base model that usually turns out to be a better buy than the FE for several reasons. Compared to FE devices, flagships—even entry-level ones—offer better hardware performance, better firmware support, and better user interface.
Meanwhile, numerous smartphone usersmid-range/budget class gravitate more towards devices like the Galaxy A5x. It makes no sense for them to purchase the Galaxy FE. It can be assumed that Samsung has begun to understand this.
