It's time to give way to the Pixel 5a: Google appears to be discontinuing production of the Pixel 4a 5G

Google has probably decided to exclude the Pixel 4a 5G smartphone, which was released in September, from its range

last year.

Why?

This is hinted at by the absence of a model in manystores So, it is no longer available under contract in the UK and US, and has disappeared from Amazon and Best Buy. B&H Photo and Video directly states that the smartphone has been discontinued.

With the exception of Verizon, all major carriers still have the Pixel 4a 5G in stock. Actually, just like in the Google Store.

Of course, these are just assumptions for now.are still quite logical. The fact is that Google is preparing a new Pixel 5a, which should be presented at the end of July or August. Add to this reports that claim the Pixel 5a will essentially be a repackaged Pixel 4a 5G, and it's not hard to see why Google might be planning to discontinue the phone relatively early in its lifecycle.
