What's new about iOS 10?
Apple continues to blockjailbreak iOS, playing cat and mouse with jailbreakers. Italian hacker Luca Todesco aka qwertyoruiop, who many think is simply trolling the entire jailbreak community by releasing videos of a working jailbreak, admitted that Apple has tightened the security system in iOS 10. He said that all the methods used to jailbreak iOS 9.3.2 and below have been corrected and he needs to start all over again.
Apple hasn't encrypted the iOS 10 kernel.By leaving it unencrypted, the company was able to optimize the performance of the operating system without compromising security. As noted by third-party experts, the unencrypted kernel increases the possibility of developing a jailbreak for iOS 10.
IOS 10 jailbreak status
The good news is that iOS 10 is alreadyhacked. In July, members of the Pangu team showed off a working version of the iOS 10 jailbreak by running Cydia on the device during the Mobile Security conference in Shanghai. They didn't provide any more information about the jailbreak, but from the photo it looks like they did a lot of work to get Cydia running on iOS 10.

A few days ago, Todesco also releaseddemo video where he showed off jailbreaking iOS 10. As you can see in the video, Luca is showing off a 9.7-inch iPad Pro with jailbreak and Cydia installed. The first time he tries to launch Cydia, it crashes, then he returns to the main screen and launches the special yaluX jailbreak utility. By doing so, he demonstrated that the jailbreak is most likely semi-tethered, just like on iOS 9.3.3 from Pangu. He then launches Cydia to prove that the jailbreak works. The iPad Pro ran on iOS 10 beta 8.

The fact that the device was hacked gives ushope that the iOS 10 jailbreak will be released much earlier than the iOS 9 jailbreak – iOS 9.0.2, which was released by the Pangu team almost a month after the official release of iOS 9. It remains to be seen whether Apple will fix the vulnerabilities in the final version of iOS 10.
As always, we will let you know as soon as we receive more detailed information about iOS 10 jailbreak.
