A company from Tokyo (Japan) has developed a device for non-contact measurement of human temperature
How it works
This is a small device with a screen that measurestemperature in the mouth. The company says that such measurements are more accurate, because the performance of devices that measure body surface temperature (forehead, wrist) is influenced by external factors. And the inside of your mouth will show a more accurate temperature.
In order to measure the temperature in the mouth, the device uses facial recognition technology: a person simply needs to approach the camera and open his mouth, after which the result will be displayed on the screen.
The developers plan to use such a device in medical institutions, schools and nursing homes.
