JC Tech tests Flyingfish 200 kamikaze drone with GPS and artificial intelligence under $3,000

Taiwan is preparing for a possible military clash with China and is studying Ukraine's experience in the war against Russia.

What is known

Apparently, the Taiwanese were satisfied with the efficiencykamikaze drones, and they decided to arm themselves with such devices. JC Tech has developed and tested the Flyingfish Loitering Ammunition. It is available in three variants, like the American Switchblade, but there is information only about the middle version.

It's called the Flyingfish 200 and costs less$3000, i.e. about half the price of AeroVironment's kamikaze drone. The drone has a length of 115 cm. The body is made of a lightweight material that resembles plastic.

Loitering ammunition weighs 2.2 kg.The explosive mass is 0.5 kg, which is comparable to ten grenades. Flyingfish 200 can hit tanks, ships and military forces within a radius of up to 10 km from the launch point. For operation, the drone has artificial intelligence algorithms, GPS and cameras. The launch is carried out using a catapult.
