March 2 Management
DARPA wants the systems to be deployablefrom the air to allow troops to infiltrate hostile territory, or deployed on the ground to allow soldiers to better navigate off-road terrain. That is, theoretically, in the future, the US military will be able to penetrate enemy territory using jetpacks.
Although jetpacks are not the only format, which is reviewed by DARPA. It can be wing suits, gliders and parachutes. The Office also wants the portable personal air mobility system to be reasonably easy to use.
