Joe Biden will hold a mysterious meeting with the “Big Five”

Joe Biden is apparently planning a meeting on August 25 between the US government and some

large technology companies.So far, executives from six major companies have been invited: Tim Cook from Apple, Satya Nadella from Microsoft, Andy Jassy from Amazon, as well as executives from Google, IBM and JPMorgan Chase (an American multinational investment bank).

The reason for the meeting is still unknown, although it is possibleit deals with recent cyber attacks and how to reduce the risk of such threats in the future. This is a logical assumption after President Biden signed an executive order in May to work with private companies to combat national cybersecurity threats.

Over the past few months there has beenseveral large-scale attacks that endangered the personal safety of many citizens. Among them – penetration of Russian hackers into the iPhones of dozens of American government officials using a zero-day vulnerability, as well as a successful cyberattack on Russian intelligence officers. on SolarWinds, a giant information technology company in the United States.

There have also been attacks on Microsoft Exchange Server, Colonial Pipeline, Kaseya (an American software company) and many others.
