Kickstarter raises money for Ebo's smart cat robot

to the next level of pet care. This is the “smart” Ebo robot, which is called the companion for the cat.

What it is

This is a small ball with an LED display that simulates the eyes and different emotions of the robot. Ebo was created to entertain cats, especially kittens that have more than enough energy.

An animal can chase a robot, play withwith a rope or a pen that is attached to the case, or even with a laser - Ebo also has it. Like a robot vacuum cleaner, it can scan a room and go around obstacles.

Also on the case there are speakers and a camera, whichdisplays a picture on a smartphone. Therefore, at any time, the owner can see what the cat is doing, “talk” with the pet, or take control of the robot in their hands.

The built-in battery is enough for 2 hours of operation, after which the robot will return to the charging station itself.

Price

Money for a cat robot is collected on the Kickstarter site. The cost of the basic version is $ 158. There is also a Pro version that uses AI to analyze a cat’s behavior and mood for $ 198.

Initially, the developers planned to raise a little more than $ 5,000 for production, but orders had already been raised for almost $ 200,000. Fundraising will end in late December.
