The iPhone X's battery was 2716mAh and the updated version was 2658mAh. Despite this, Apple claims that the iPhone XS can work 30 minutes longer than the old model.
According to the docs, the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max has a 3174mAh battery. It should work 90 minutes longer than the iPhone X.
The 6.1-inch iPhone XR, which will be released only at the end of October, has a 2942mAh battery. It should work 90 minutes longer than the iPhone 8.

The documents also say that the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have 4GB of RAM, and the iPhone XR has 3GB. Last year's iPhone X had 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone 8 had just 2GB of RAM.
