Huawei, as promised, began to update its last year’s flagship Mate 20 series to EMUI 9.1.
Who will update
The owners of the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design smartphones began to receive the latest firmware.
But the budget Mate 20 Lite, it seems, was not invited to the party - it is not on the list.

Branded shell EMUI 9.1 powered by Android 9 Pie. It offers an updated interface, GPU Turbo 3.0 graphics accelerator, a new EROFS file system, and a Moon mode (like the P30 flagships).
Recall that the owners of the Mate 20 X started getting EMUI 9.1 a few days ago. According to the schedule, a total of 23 Huawei models will receive a new firmware.
