Huawei, as promised, has begun updating its last year flagships, the Mate 20 series, to EMUI 9.1.
Who will update
Owners of the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design smartphones have begun receiving the latest firmware.
But the budget Mate 20 Lite, it seems, was not invited to the party - it is not on the list.

What's new
Branded shell EMUI 9.1 runs on Android 9 Pie. It offers an updated interface, GPU Turbo 3.0 graphics accelerator, a new EROFS file system and a Moon mode camera mode (like the flagship P30).
Let's remember that Mate 20 X owners started receiving EMUI 9.1 a few days ago. According to the schedule, a total of 23 Huawei models will receive the new firmware.
