League of Legends: Wild Rift - LoL for smartphones and consoles with three important changes

Rumors were confirmed and Riot Games will release a mobile and console version of League of Legends, but under a different name.

What is known

LoL will look at mobile phones and consoles under the nickname Wild Rift. According to the developers, the players are not waiting for the banal port of the PC version, but a new game created from scratch.

First, matches in Wild Rift take 15–20minutes, which is almost two times less than in League of Legends. Secondly, the developers changed the management, adapting it to the touch screens of smartphones. Thirdly, although Wild Rift will receive heroes familiar to LoL fans, some of the skins will not get to the mobile version.

Wild Rift will be released at the end of 2019, but as part of beta testing and regions selected by Riot Games. Until the end of 2020, a global release will take place, and the game will appear in "most regions".
