The ISS set won last year's LEGO competition"Ideas" with 45.6% of the community votes. This initiative allows fans to suggest and select future construction kit designs. The choice was probably influenced by the LEGO version of the Apollo 11 spaceship, which also came out last year. In addition, this year the station will turn 20 years old.

The new product consists of 864 parts, as in the case ofApollo, during its development the company consulted with NASA engineers. The result is a reliable and robust model with many small details. Along with the announcement, LEGO successfully launched exactly the same mini-station into the stratosphere.
The start of sales is scheduled for February 1 in the United States; the price will be $ 70.
