LG unveils a medical mask with a battery

LG has officially introduced a medical mask with an air purifier and a battery. The device is equipped

sensors that can detect whether a person is inhaling or exhaling.

The PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier mask uses a pair of replaceable filters and fans that are powered by a battery. Sensors help regulate fan speed.

LG hopes the company's new device will replace homemade masks that some people use and disposable medical masks, which are currently in short supply.

It is worth noting that LG does not say anywherethat her device protects the owner specifically from the new coronavirus. The company said it is waiting for the results of testing the mask to release full information about it. It may well be that personal protective equipment with breathing valves will be useless in the fight against coronavirus, since it will not protect others from infectious droplets.

It is noted that the battery of the device provides eight hours of use in low power mode.
