LG has expanded its line of Ultrafine OLED monitors with a new model. It's called LG Ultrafine 27EQ850, it's a little different
What is known
The monitor is equipped with a 26.9” OLED displayLEDs with 10-bit color depth, 4K ULTRA HD resolution and 60Hz frame rate. LG claims a 1ms sensor response time and 99% Adobe RGB and DCI/P3 color gamut coverage.
LG Ultrafine 27EQ850 supports the technologyDynamic Action, but does not comply with the VESA DisplayHDR400 standard. Instead, HDR10 certification is provided. This is the first difference from a more expensive monitor. The second is to reduce typical brightness from 250 nits to 200 nits.
The new product is equipped with a USB-C port (USB 3.0) with support for 90W fast charging. Also on board there are three USB-A (USB 3.0) connectors, two DisplayPorts, one HDMI and a Mini-Jack. The monitor can be mounted on the wall thanks to the VESA 100×100 mount, and the desktop stand allows you to adjust the tilt, height and rotation.
The cost of LG Ultrafine 27EQ850 was $2000. The new monitor, having received VESA DisplayHDR400 certification, was $1,000 cheaper than the 27EP950.
