Lithuania to repair 12 Ukrainian Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers

In mid-September it became known that Ukraine will be able to repair self-propelled artillery units

What is known

The head of the Lithuanian Defense Ministry wrote inTwitter that the first two self-propelled artillery mounts have already been successfully repaired and sent to Ukraine. Two more howitzers are moving in the opposite direction. In total, Lithuania plans to repair at least 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000s.

In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have22 SPGs donated by Germany and the Netherlands (14 and 8 respectively). These include four Panzerhaubitze 2000s that arrived from Germany along with two surface drones and two M270 MLRS multiple rocket launchers.
