Lockheed Martin has completed assembly of another F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the Royal Air Force

Denmark. In total, the Scandinavian country ordered 27 fighters.

What is known

In the middle of the last decade, the governmentDenmark has decided to buy fifth-generation fighters. Deliveries began in 2021. Denmark will receive all 27 aircraft within six years, i.e. until 2026.

Lockheed Martin sent six aircraft to the basein Arizona. The company recently assembled the seventh fighter. He has tail number L-007 and went to Texas, where he will take part in the training of Danish pilots.

First fighters will arrive in Denmark before the endcurrent year. The F-35 Lightning II will replace the F-16 Fighting Falcon. In total, the Royal Air Force has 30 fourth-generation aircraft in service, but by 2027 they will retire.
