In 2022, Lockheed Martin customers received 141fighter instead of the planned 148 units. Nine more aircraft remain at the manufacturer's plant due to the ban on flights. In total, the company was able to deliver 984 fifth-generation fighters.

Last year, F-35 Lightning II aircraft werehanded over to customers in different parts of the world. In addition to the United States, Italy, Australia, Denmark, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway and the UK received their fighters.

Lockheed Martin intends to transfer between 147 and 153 fifth-generation aircraft to customers during 2023 and 2024. But the recent supply ban could change the company's plans.
