The American company Lockheed Martin offered to look at what the sixth fighter would look like.
What is known
The manufacturer killed two birds with one stone, because together with a fighter in one image he showed the concept of an air tanker. Lockheed Martin is also working on it, but as part of the LMXT program.

Work on a sixth generation fighter is underwayas part of the Next-Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) project. The aircraft will receive two engines developed under the Adaptive Engine Transition Program (AETP). These are the General Electric XA100 and Pratt & Whitney XA101.
According to images from Lockheed Martin, the aircraftthe new generation, unlike the F-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptor, will have a flying wing aerodynamic configuration, like Northrop Grumman's B-21 Raider nuclear stealth bomber, which will be presented on December 2.
Design without a pronounced tailThe empennage provides more space for additional sensors, fuel or weapons. The air intakes are not shown in the photographs. They can be located at the bottom of the fighter. But it is possible that they simply did not want to add them to renders.

It should be noted the low profile of the cab, due towhich the pilot will have reduced visibility. But this problem will be solved by the fighter's situational awareness system. It will combine all the sensors into a single system. Also, do not forget about the existence of an unmanned version of a new generation fighter, in which the cockpit does not play any role at all.
