Lockheed Martin helps India develop Vajra stealth drone with 108 km/h cruising speed and 160 km range

The Indian company Garua Aerospace Pvt Ltd has created an unmanned aerial vehiclereconnaissance-level.

The drone was developed in collaboration with US defense company Lockheed Martin. She developed software for an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Vajra is equipped with cameras that can transmit images in thermal and optical spectra in real time. A LiDAR unit is also installed on board the drone.

Vajra will be used for border monitoring withPakistan and China. The drone has a range of 160 km, a maximum flight time of 5 hours, a cruising speed of 108 km/h, and a maximum payload weight of 5 kg.
