Look at the first flight of the largest hybrid electric aircraft Ampaire 337

Ampaire 337 is built on the basis of a six-seat Cessna 337 Skymaster. Engineers replaced one of the engines with

electric and ensured that both engines - electric and internal combustion - work together to achieve optimum efficiency in the air.

Test flight was performed at the airportCamarillo, in the cockpit were a test pilot and flight engineer. The flight was declared successful - from July to August the company intends to conduct flights of the device several times a week to check the performance of all its systems.

If problems are not detected during testing, Ampaire 337 can enter service until 2021, company representatives say.
