Look at the four-legged robot that runs, carries weights and now swims

The four-legged robot Vision 60 from Ghost Robotics is very versatile: it was equipped with a special mount, with

with which he can swim.

The basic version of Vision 60 weighs 51 kg: it can walk on uneven terrain, accelerate to 3 m/s and carry up to 10 kg of additional cargo. The device works for three hours on a single charge.

Now the device has been trained to swim. To do this, he was provided with a degree of water resistance - IP67. This means that it can be submerged to a depth of 1m for 30 minutes.

Attached to the back of the robot is a device withjet drive and aluminum body. It provides a maximum speed of 3 knots - 5.6 km / h. The robot "pulls" its legs to improve hydrodynamics while moving through the water. The module itself weighs 0.9 kg, and the battery is another 1.4 kg.
