Look at the "ghost" galaxy captured by the Hubble telescope

In the image you can not only see the inner section of the spiral arms, containing hundreds of thousands of young

bright blue stars. Hubble also captured the very faint and thin tails of the outer spiral arms. The European Space Agency called the galaxy “ghostly.”

Many more distant and delightfully diverse galaxies appear in the background.

This thin spiral galaxy was firstdiscovered in 1865 by the German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arre. During his work, Heinrich also discovered asteroid 76 Freya and many other galaxies. The astronomer also contributed to the discovery of Neptune.

If you are in the Northern Hemisphere with a large telescope, you can observe the ghostly appearance of this faint galaxy in the faint constellation Coma Berenices.
