Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas announced new military assistance to Ukraine.
What is known
The new package will include 20 trackedM113 armored personnel carriers. That is, they can be used to equip a mechanized company. In addition, we will receive 10 trucks from Lithuania, as well as 10 armored vehicles. They will be used by sappers to clear mines from the territory of Ukraine. Anusauskas does not specify delivery dates for the equipment, but we can assume that it will reach us in June.

The M113 is a tracked armored personnel carrier thatIt is in service with the mechanized forces of the US Army and other armies of the world. It was developed by the British company BAE Systems in 1957-1959. There are about 80,000 of these armored personnel carriers in the world.
