What it is? Nizhny Novgorod, like many other regions, is in self-isolation mode due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Governor Gleb Nikitin recently announced that for the purpose of control, a special resident map application was developed that will allow monitoring the situation and movements of residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

At the moment, the application is already available fordownloads on the App Store and Play Store, however, developers are still finalizing its functionality. But in the very near future, each Nizhny Novgorod will already be able to use it for its intended purpose. Right now, we can only watch the beta version of the service.
How does it work?
The operating principle of the Resident Card application is based onreceiving a QR code — This is your personal electronic key to the urban environment. After installing the application on the phone, each resident will have to go through the registration procedure. Next, if you need to leave the house, you will need to indicate in the application the reason for leaving (to go to the pharmacy, to the store, to work, to walk the dog, etc.). Next, you should receive approval. If your exit from home is approved, you will receive a QR code. It will become your personalpermission to leave home.
In case you suddenly stop on the streetan employee of the Russian Guard or the police, you will need to show your personal QR code, which is your permission. If you do not have a QR code, then you will face a fine for an administrative violation.

Registration on exit
The nn-card website is up and running.ru, through which you can issue an exit pass. It is expected that at the moment the service «lies» and does not allow you to log in using your phone number. Soon we will write a detailed article on how to apply for exit during the period of self-isolation.
