Mark Gurman: Mac Pro with Apple Silicon chip will not support expandable RAM and will look like the current model

Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman continues to share details about yet-to-be-announced

new products from Apple. This time he revealed information about the new Mac Pro.

What is known

So, according to Gurman, the new product will not be externallydiffer from the current model. That is, the device will receive a stainless steel and aluminum body that will resemble a kitchen grater. In addition, you shouldn't expect support for expandable RAM in the new Mac Pro.

The computer must be powered by the proprietary M2 Ultra processor. It will boast a 24-core CPU. The chip will also feature up to 76 GPU cores and a minimum of 192GB of RAM.

When to expect

Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the new Mac Pro yet. Presumably, the computer will be shown at the end of 2023.
